Australia: Nanotechnology Project campaigner

The Friends of the Earth Australia Nanotechnology Project is seeking a dynamic campaigner. The role is focussed on alliance building and outreach, communications work and volunteer management. Key functions of the position are to raise the profile of nanotechnology issues within civil society and to help create opportunities for growth of the Nanotechnology Project.

Applications are sought from those with a demonstrated interest in the environmental, health and broader social issues and challenges raised by emerging technologies. Confidence to engage critically with the technical and political dimensions of science and technology issues is essential. The position is based in Melbourne.
