You will be a highly motivated Chemist with a track record in the preparation of metal nanoparticles. This post is part of an EU-funded multinational project on the nanotechnology of bismuth, and the specific task of the Liverpool group is to develop new preparative methods for Bi and Bi alloy nanoparticles. You will be an experienced user of most standard analytical methods used to characterize nanpoarticles including TEM, NMR, DLS and analytical centrifugation. Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to present results at international project meetings are essential. The post is available for 1 year.
