Applicants are invited for a PostDoc position, in our Chemical Biology group at the Life and Medical Sciences (LIMES) Institute at the University of Bonn/Germany. You will join an interdisciplinary team and work on an ERC-funded project on the development of molecular machines based on interlocked DNA-architectures.

The optimal candidate holds a Ph.D. in chemistry (or related a discipline) and has a strong background in organic synthesis. An excellent publication record is mandatory. Solid knowledge in nucleic acids chemistry is desired and experience in molecular biology is advantageous.

Application deadline is 15th of January. The position is open from March 2011 and will be granted for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of later extension. Salary is at E13 level according to the TV-L scale.
