The companies CS-Service and Chemical Consulting Dornseiffer (CCD) will work with Forschungszentrum Jülich over the next two years to explore ways of using nanoparticles in analysis in order to improve established chromatographic separation techniques. On 23 June, Thomas Rachel, Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research presented the partners with funding worth € 200,000. These funds were awarded under the KMU innovative nanotechnology funding measure.
