The Department for Plant Biology and Biotechnology IBBP of Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster seeks to appoint several

doctoral researchers (Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in TVL 13/2)

for a total period of 36 months, starting at the earliest possibility.

Individuals applying for this position must hold a Master degree in Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent, preferably in a field such as Physico-Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, or Enzymology of Biopolymers. The successful candidate will collaborate in an international and interdisciplinary research project, e.g. PolyModE – Novel Polysaccharide Modifying Enzymes for the Optimisation of Hydrocolloids in Food and Medical Sciences‘ funded by the 7th Framework Research Programme of the European Union. Knowledge of German is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
