an Engineer in nanotechnology processing (m/f)
Mission:
The successful candidate will have:
- To produce advanced nanomaterials via process equipment development (installation, validation, process development),
- To sustain R&D studies in nanomaterials and nanotechnology in close collaboration with the respective project leaders,
- To maintain the process equipments for optimized daily operation,
- To coordinate the equipment process capabilities (advanced CVD, ALD, PIII, Electrochemical deposition, FIB etc.) with the required nanomaterials development,
- To contribute to the safety and the quality activities of the laboratory in collaboration with the quality team,
- To perform basic surface characterizations (AFM, MEB, DRX, FT-IR, ..),
- To facilitate extended surface characterizations performed by the SAM scientists,
- To write technical reports both in French and English,
- To occasionally train students on the elaboration techniques.
Profile:
- Master/Engineer degree or equivalent in physics, physical-chemistry, nanotechnology or materials science with 5 to 10 years of experience in advanced process development and high-technology equipment processing and control,
- Strong experimental background in nanotechnology processing (Atomic Layer Deposition, Chemical Vapor Deposition) and characterization related to the fabrication of active nanostructures with an experience in an applied R&D environment would be an asset,
- Demonstrated achievements or scientific contributions to high-technology science would be appreciated,
- Excellent communication, organizational, flexibility and interpersonal skills with a mandatory team-spirit,
