A project leader in Nanomaterials/​Nanotechnology (m/​f)

Mission:

The successful candidate will have:
- To propose, setup and coordinate R&D projects related to active nanomaterials for industrial or environmental applications,
- To actively participate to the execution of the R&D projects,
- To develop state-of-the-art expertise in the nanomaterials synthesis using sub-atmospheric deposition technologies (ALD, MOCVD, FIB…),
- To be responsible of the ALD, MOCVD equipments,
- To communicate on the generated scientific results (conference, scientific publications, symposium…)
- To initiate novel developments and novel applications in the field of nanomaterials applications in order to sustain the research unit strategy,
- To propose and write (after internal validation) patents applications,
- To interface with external partners for the setup of common R&D projects,
- To occasionally train students or external people to the ALD-MOCVD processes,
- To occasionally write technical reports both in French and English.​

Profile:

- Ph.​D in physics, physical-chemistry, nanotechnology or materials science with at least 5 years of proven experience in nanotechnology/​nanomaterials and scientific project management,
- Strong experimental background in the fabrication of nanostructures via sub-atmospheric deposition processes are an asset, scientific knowledge in plasma-assited deposition and plasma physics are a plus,
- Demonstrated scientific contributions to high-level science (provide a list of publication),
- Past experience with or in the private sector will be appreciated,
- Excellent communication, organizational, flexibility and interpersonal skills with a mandatory team-spirit,
- Autonomy, creativity toward applied research excellence with a strong sense of delivering experimental results,
- Fluency in English (scientific exchanges) and French (administrative language).​
