Eligibility:
-M.Sc. in Nanotechnology, Chemistry/Physical Chemistry or equivalent
-Experience with or knowledge of one or more of the following areas will be an advantage: nanotechnology, nanostructure-mediated drug delivery, physicochemical methods, bioactives
-Good laboratory skills
-Good collaboration skills
-Good communication skills (written and oral)
-Structured and analytical working approach

Scholarship Description: A 3-year PhD scholarship in ‘Bio-nanotechnology’ is available at the National Food Institute (DTU Food), Division of Food Industrial Research with start 1 of December 2011 or soon thereafter. The scholarship is funded by the Danish Council for Strategic Research and will be part of the strategic research project ”Functional Electrospun Nanostructures and Microstructures for Food and Bioengineering Applications (FENAMI)” which is a collaborative project between DTU Food, DTU Chemical Engineering, DTU Nanoscopy Center, Copenhagen University (Biomedical Institute), Lund University (Sweden), Westphalian Wilhelm’s Univ. of Münster (Germany) and Gumlink A/S.
