Bashkiria to invest in nanotechnology

Russia’s republic of Bashkiria in the Urals is going to become a center of innovations and high technology, the republic`s head Rustem Khamitov said addressing the International Congress of Nanotechnology in Ufa.

Mr. Khamitov added that by the end of 2015 Bashkiria is expected to spend about 90 billion roubles on innovative products, twenty times more than today.

Nanotechnology has already given a boost to numerous branches of science and industry.
